Ankush Jain, DO is a physician with Spine and Pain Associates. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine.
Born in Portsmouth, Va., Dr. Jain grew up as a Navy brat, experiencing diverse cultures across the United States and abroad. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences with honors from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He pursued his medical education through the U.S. Navy Health Professions Scholarship Program at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
During his military tenure, Dr. Jain served as the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit Surgeon in Okinawa, Japan, He later as the 15th Combat Logistics Regimental Surgeon in Camp Pendleton, California. Before is honorable separation, he attained the rank of Lieutenant Commander with Fleet Marine Force Qualification.
Transitioning to civilian life, Dr. Jain completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Montefiore Medical Center, the University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Here, his peers, staff, and faculty selected him to serve as Chief Resident. He furthered his expertise with a Fellowship in Pain Medicine at the same institution.
Dr. Jain’s personal life is enriched by his wonderful pediatrician wife and their two children.
