Dr. Adam Olsson brings extensive clinical experience with a strong background in military medicine and patient-centered care. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon and his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. He completed both his Anesthesiology Residency and Pain Medicine Fellowship through the National Capital Consortium at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Dr. Olsson served as a Major in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 2018. During his military career, he held key leadership roles including Deputy Chief of Pain Medicine at Madigan Army Medical Center. He later served as Department Chief of Pain Medicine at St. Anthony’s Hospital. He is an active member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia.
Originally from Oregon, Dr. Olsson and his family are excited to begin a new chapter in the Appalachian Mountains of East Tennessee. Dr. Olsson and his wife Tina have three children – Connor, Isa, and Viggo along with two cats named Frap and Charlotte. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, hiking, yoga and college football — Go Ducks!
